The ACHR program provides the knowledge, skills, and training needed to install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems, equipment, and components. Earning credentials shows an understanding of fundamental concepts and also that you are a knowledgeable and responsible person in both residential and commercial systems.

Areas you will study and learn to troubleshoot are: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) unit maintenance, domestic appliances, basics of electricity, HVAC system installation, air quality issues, residential systems, and commercial and industrial refrigeration units.

Students learn communication skills to explain technical problems to their non-technical customers.
