In response to pandemic-related emergencies, Congress passed the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) on December 27, 2020, granting Central Carolina Community College over $1.2 million through the HEERF II Grant to support students with costs like tuition, food, and healthcare, mirroring the allocation from the CARES Act.
In response to the pandemic, the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 allocated over $3.6 million in HEERF III grants to Central Carolina Community College, which will distribute this funding to assist undergraduate, continuing education, and career readiness students with essential costs like tuition, food, housing, healthcare, and childcare.
